Ingnorance is Bliss

Most people think that the secret to a happy and healthy marriage is to be totally honest with your spouse. No secrets from each other. I used to think that way. Until Michael woke me up from my afternoon nap to tell me the most heinous and horrible thing I have ever heard come out of his mouth. After listening to his sick confession my first instinct was to scream and/or cry. After a little time to think I realized I had no choice, but to to gather up the girls and walk right out the door. Leave everything behind. Start fresh. Start new somewhere else. It could all be replaced, but Mike couldn't take back what he had said. Oh he tried. Believe me. The back pedalling started as soon as he saw the horrified look on my face. It was too late. By then I had already heard it. And folks you just can't un-hear some things.

He never should have told me he saw a mouse in the kitchen.

LMAO!!!!

You crack me up.
I was so concerned for you reading this.

Just think of it like a hampster, a family pet perhaps?

Grin.

Thanks for your concern Julie. I'm afraid pretending it's a hamster does me no good. Anything that falls in to that size and/or shape just freaks me right out.

Glad I gave you a chuckle.
