Check it out;
Now how much would you expect to pay for such stylish clothes? Fifty dollars? Seventy-five? How about a grand total of $82.80, tax included. Yes folks the actual retail price for these two outfits for a four year old was over eighty bucks. Now I can't remember the last time I spent eighty dollars on clothes for me so you know I didn't pay that on clothes for her. No sir, I snatched this up for $30.40 and saved myself over fifty dollars. The one pair of jeans was $24.50 marked down to $4.99. Thank you very much Old Navy.
So shopping done we headed for home. Mike was instantly annoyed with himself because he got on the Linc to go home. You see typically we'd take the Linc to the 403 and home, but they are doing construction on highway right off the on ramp. Traffic was backed up when we were on our way to the mall. They was no reason to think it wouldn't be backed up now as well. I helpfully suggested to Michael that perhaps we get off at Golf Links before the on ramp or take Rousseau and travel striaght through town. Now either way would have added a mere 5 additional minutes to our commute, but Mike in his infinite wisdom dismissed them both saying he didn't want to "dink around" going through town. Remember that, it will be important in a minute. So instead we got on the highway and sat in traffic. Very slow moving traffic. Bumper to bumber. Beside huge noisy transports. While Mike tried to set the land speed record for changing radio stations. It wasn't in the least bit irritating. And how long were we stuck in this traffic jam? Almost 20 minutes. All because someone didn't want to "dink around" through town and add 5 minutes to our drive. Perfectly logical isn't it? Yeah I thought so too.
