Mike decided last Thursday that instead of watching Survivor (which hello is my reason for living, next to Oprah) we should watch Grey's Anatomy. Now I know Grey's Anatomy is a hugely popular show and all the cool kids have been watching it since day one, but apparently I had more important things to do with my time. Like watching Survivor on Thursday nights. (Has it always been on Thursday?) Anyway being the supportive spouse I am I agreed to give up Survivor in favour of Grey's Anatomy. Only because I knew I could watch a west coast channel and catch it at 11 pm my time. Otherwise it would have been a no go. Yes I am that obsessive about it.
We've now seen two episodes of Grey's Anatomy and I have to say I really like the show. The acting is great, the characters are great, the stories are great (a reviewer I'm not). I have one major problem though. All these really great characters have a lot of history. A lot of history. I find myself fumbling around trying to connect the dots between the characters and their storylines. I feel a little like I'm at a party where I don't know anyone and nobody wants to be my friend. I need to find a hardcore Grey's Anatomy fan to come watch with us every week. Anybody interested? I'll make popcorn.
