In minutes I had created an identical order over at the competition for a full $18 cheaper than Chapters. Since my 3% cash back only amounted to about $2.45 it was an easy decision to make. I completed my order through Amazon. My emailed confirmation informed me that my order would ship on the 8th of December. The gift I had ordered for Mike wasn't going to be released until the following day, which I assumed accounted for the slight delay. Wednesday I received an email telling me my entire order had been shipped. By Thursday afternoon it was waiting in my mailbox. That right there is impressive customer service.

Friday Favourites - Amazon.ca
Each year I do more and more of my Christmas shopping online. Nothing like shopping in your jammies at midnight with a margarita cup of tea in your hand. A large chunk of my list included various books, DVD's and CD's that I had planned on purchasing from Chapters. So Monday afternoon while Abby was in school and Maya was napping I clicked away and in moments had my order ready for check out. I had chosen Chapters because they are a Futura Partner and I would receive 3% of my purchase back in an RESP for the girls. For some reason instead of clicking through to complete my order I thought I'd do a little price comparison over at Amazon.
