iPod - The magic eight ball for the new millenium.

I saw this meme over at Postcards from the Mothership. Apparently she and I are the only ones left on the internet who have yet to do this one. Since I am the proud owner of 50% of an iPod I thought I'd give it a whirl. Just for shits and giggles.

Now the idea is you set your iPod (or other digital music device) to shuffle, ask yourself the following questions and hit play. Which ever song pops up will be your answer.

How does the world see you?
Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
Better than hanging by a thread I suppose.

Will I have a happy life?
She Said Yes - Lonestar
I don't know who "she" is, but I thank her.

What do my friends think of me?
Are We Family - Tragically Hip
Yeah. We are.

Do people secretly lust after me?
You're Beautiful - James Blunt
Score!

How can I make myself happy?
The Finer Things - Steve Winwood
See, even Steve Winwood wants me to have a laptop.

What should I do with my life?
It Can't Be Nashville Every Night - Tragically Hip
Guess I should take off this hat and these chaps and stop pretending it can be.

Will I ever have children?
Duece - Lenny Kravitz
Okay that's just weird. Like creepy weird. How did the iPod know?

What is some good advice for me?
I Don't Feel Like Dancing - Scissor Sisters
You're right, I don't.

How will I be remembered?
Goodnight Josephine - Tragically Hip
I'm not really sure what to say about this.

What is my signature dancing song?
Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
Or this.

What do I think my current theme song is?
Going The Distance - Bill Conti
Isn't that what all Moms do?

What does everyone else think my theme song is?
When You Were Young - The Killers
What is everyone else trying to say?

What song will play at my funeral?
Wastin' Time - Kid Rock
That's what I'm doing right now.

What type of men do you like?
Alana Loves Me - Kim Mitchell
I'm confused, so I like Alana or over the hill Canadian rock stars turned "drive home" DJ's?

What is my day going to be like?
Who Knew - Pink
Exactly, who knew Abby was going to paint her hair with a sponge brush and water. Who knew Maya was going to crap up the back of her shirt. Who knew the choir director was going to make me sing at "junior" choir practice tonight.

Well that was fun and a little spooky, but mostly fun. Haven't played yet? Find out what your psychic device iPod tells you.
