To my Canadian friends - ever have a hard time rolling up your rim? Then head on over to Postcards from the Mothership and check out the Rimroller. Don't forget to enter for a chance to win one of your very own. Or you know, you could buy one here.
Okay, I was THIS close to going into Lee Valley today (as I was right nearby) to pick one up. But, as it was already lunch time and I had two squirrelly kids in the back, I headed home. You just KNOW that I will be getting one soon... look for the post of the inaugural use!
M - nothing to be scared of, but it's really only exciting to us Canucks. Tim Horton's the mega-huge coffee chain (think Starbucks, but slash the prices and lose the "trendy" factor, just straight up coffee here) has an annual promotion called Roll up the Rim to Win. Which is exactly how it sounds. You buy a coffee and then roll up the rim of your take out cup to see if you've won. They give away millions of prizes every year. Cars, cash, product, iPods and big screen TV's.
Anyway some folks find the actual rolling of the rim a bit a pain in the ass so somebody invented a gadget to make it a lot easier.
Karen - I'm looking forward to reading the post. Dani over at Postcards from the Mothership has posted some video of it in action. I'm truly sold now.
