I am endlessly astounded by how much Abby is learning in school, not to mention how quickly. Before school she could recite the alphabet, but couldn't really recognize the letters. Now she recognizes all the letters and knows how they sound phonetically. Often times now when she hears a word, for example, Herbie, she says "Herbie, hu hu that's an h. Herbie starts with h." She's also starting to recognize words, popcorn words specifically. Popcorn words are words that pop up everywhere, like is, as, the, to and so on. That right there is enough to be amazed and proud of her for and then tonight she pulled out this:
