Now before I go settle us on the couch to watch Friends on DVD and try and coax her to sleep I just want to say I take everything I said about horse camp back. Yes Abby has been cranky, over tired and an all around pill, but folks I got to see her trot on Oliver today and her smile just about said it all. She was so very proud of herself. And I'm not expert or anything, but I have to admit she sits and rides well in the saddle. I think it may have had something to do with the cowboy boots she was wearing. With her shorts and tank top.
And you know what made me very nearly weep? This....
That is the picture of one happy little girl. And so grown up. Oh Lord does she look like such a big girl in this picture.

I'm so glad that it's been worth it. We have the kids for two weeks in August & they are going to day camp then. They didn't really want to go but I couldn't face 3 kids for a whole week by myself (D is taking the second week off from work). They are going to Butterfield Acres to learn all about farm animals. Sounds like fun to me!
