who wears short shorts

After going back and forth on the idea several times, tonight Mike and I took the girls to the annual Cactus Festival Parade in Dundas. The back and forth came from Abby being a bit under the weather yesterday. There was a slight fever and some upchucking involved. Thankfully, by the time we got home from work that seemed to have passed since Abby had spent the afternoon swimming at the neighbour's house. I have to say I am glad we decided to go. I really love this parade. I'm not sure why. Maybe because it's a summer parade. Maybe because it's an evening parade. Who's to say for sure?



Abby was happy to see the parade, mostly. Maya was totally into it. Yelling and waving at everything that passed us by.



Aww who are we kidding? We all know the reason I went was for these guys.



I've asked the question before, but I'm not afraid to ask it again. Why so short fellas? Why? So? Short?
