This has always been one of my favourite pictures. My cousin and I at my Grandparent's farm. I'm clearly in a snit about something. Goodness only knows what now. In any case my cousin seems to be oblivious to my anguish. And I'm sure my Mother was snickering behind the camera. I'm guessing I was about 3 years old here, making it 1976. What strikes me now looking at this picture is how much Maya looks like me. She makes that exact little face too. And when she does my heart about explodes from the cuteness.

I think it had something to do with not going into the shed behind you. Grandma almost had a heart attack when she found out the two of you were in the rabbit pen, With the giant buck rabbit thumper. Luckily he was kind to you both and you didn't get hurt. :)

just me (AKA my MOM) - ah yes the story is all coming back to me now. Very Maya like behaviour I must admit.
Roxie - Yep it was. I'm from a family of hardcore knitters on my Dad's side. My Mom is pretty certain my Dad's Aunt made this one.
