Yes, more bread. I told you I get stuck on something and that's it. How long this bread thing is going to last is really anybody's guess. Maybe whenever fresh warm bread stops being so incredibly delicious. I predict that will happen around never o'clock.
Cinnamon Swirl Bread
1 cup warm milk (70 to 80 degrees F)
1/4 cup warm water (70 to 80 degrees F)
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
5 cups bread flour
2 1/4 tsp dry active yeast
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 cup icing sugar
4 teaspoons of milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
In your bread machine pan place the first 8 ingredients in order suggested by the manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tbsp water or flour of needed)
When cycle is complete, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, divide in half. Roll each portion into a 10 inch by 8 inch rectangle. Brush with butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over dough. Roll up tightly, jelly roll style starting with the short side. Pinch seams and ends to seal. Place seam side down in 2 greased 9 in X 5 in X 3 in loaf pans. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cover with foil; bake 5 - 10 minutes longer or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire rack to cool completely. Combine glaze ingredients, spoon over loaves.
Recipe Notes: Okay first off I cut this in half because my bread machine can't handle that much floury goodness. I didn't bother melting the butter for the filling. I just spread some on. Also, I switched out the regular sugar for some brown sugar and I doubled the cinnamon. I didn't bother with the topping either. This is a picture of the first loaf I baked. I have learned from experience that you need to roll this bread up tight to ensure good cinnamon swirl distribution. Another popular loaf around here. It was gone in no time. Abby really loved it and requested some in her lunch. High praise indeed.

Oh wow, that looks so good! The one time I made cinnamon raisin bread, the slices kept falling apart, so you must be right about rolling tight - I'll have to remember that when I try this recipe.

Oh...this was the recipe I was waiting for. Man, that looks good. I'm going to bring my breadmaker up from the laundry room tomorrow and try this out.
