don't quote me #2 - the results show

Well what can I say, once again Karen did not disappoint scoring 8 out of 10 right. She's a fire cracker, that one. Plus it just further proves that if she would only move down here and buy one of the houses that are for sale in my hood we could have some wicked movie nights. I'm just putting it out there.

And without further ado, I give you the answers....

Movie #1: Oceans 12 - This is, hands down, my favourite movie franchise. George & Brad have perfect onscreen chemistry. And the rest of the cast is just a perfect fit. Love it!

Movie #2: The Queen - Back in my younger years I was a huge Diana fan. I can still remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard she had died. Horribly tragic. This is a great movie, Diana fan or not.

Movie #3: Notting Hill - Okay I'm outing myself here as a Hugh Grant fan. Love him. Really, I do. And that Julia chick, she's not bad either.

Movie #4: The Breakfast Club - Is there anybody in my age bracket who hasn't seen this movie? I really couldn't count how many times I've watched it. Another of my favourite quotes and one I use often in real life, "I expected a little more from a varsity letterman."

Movie #5: Napoleon Dynamite - Another gem I have to thank my brother for bringing to my attention. It's another very quotable movie around the house. This one is my favourite. Well except for this one, "I see you're drinking 1%. Is that 'cause you think you're fat? 'Cause you're not. You could be drinking whole if you wanted to. "

Movie #6: Anchorman - A perfect mix of the "frat pack". Also, I maybe have a teensy crush on Paul Rudd. And Vince Vaughn. And Luke Wilson. And Ben Stiller. So much is funny about this movie I wouldn't even know where to start.

Movie #7: The Wizard of Oz - Remember when we were kids and they used to show it on TV once a year? I loved it, but the "lions, tigers and bears, oh my part" used to freak me out. That and the winged monkeys who are a whole lot nicer in the book I have to say. I'm actually reading the book to Abby right now. This is our first attempt at a chapter book and we're both really enjoying it. We plan on have a very special screening of the movie when we're done.

Movie #8: Finding Nemo - My favourite "Abby movie". We've watched it a gazillion times and I'm still not sick of it.

Movie #9: Meet The Parents - Film star BFF's Stiller and Wilson. Love them. And who knew DeNiro could be that funny? Plus the airplane freak out scene kills me.

Movie #10: My Big Fat Greek Wedding - It's not too far off from this Polish family of mine. Just substitute all the lamb for perogies and cabbage rolls.
