i blame in the night garden*

In the van this morning as we try to get everyone where they need to be and Abby is whining about not being able to reach her seat belt. Mike is short of patience and in response Abby whines more. I am silently wishing that we could postpone mornings until the afternoon when Maya (who helpfully forgot to have her usual temper tantrum this morning) shouts out....

Abby! Chillax!!

Where does an almost three year old learn a word like that?

*what is it with the Brits and their crazy kids tv shows?

Yeah, I find that show really weird and yet the kids really like it. It's a head shaker - not unlike the Telly Tubbbies was.

It is Evan's FAVORITE show! It's the only one he will sit through. When it comes on he comes up to me so that I will hold him & we can watch it together. Someone was doing some serious drugs when they came up with this show!

Love the blog's new look by the way!

The first time I saw it I thought it was the most messed up thing. But Max LOVES it and it's now part of the bed time routine. He asks to see Paka (Makapaka) every night. Hell, we even bought him one for Christmas.

Not unlike the Telly Tubbies because it's the same crazy Brits that did it!

Maya is infatuated with it. Crazy show. Iggle Piggle is her favourite. Tonight I picked up a set of the "people" and a puzzle for Christmas.

Funny I kept saying it was a crazy show and Abby would get mad at me. Then the other night I was watching it with them and Abby turns to me and says, "you're right Mom, this is a crazy show."
