more to be thankful for

And now my list.....

1. As of this afternoon I am finished Christmas shopping for the girls. True I still have stocking stuffers to pick up. I have about half of that done, but a quick trip to the dollar store for some stickers and crafting items will seal that deal. I am excited to see the kids open their gifts.

2. After Saturday night Mike's commitment to the volunteer appreciation dinner will be complete. One less committee meeting he'll need to attend.

3. To be approaching Christmas in a whole new way this year. I can't remember being this excited about Christmas is in a long time. And I get really excited about Christmas.

4. For my Mom and the purple Christmas tree she bought for the girls. So very cute. And purple. Very purple. Abby loves it. I was trying to figure out where to put it, but Abby asked for it in her room. Mike said okay, but she had to let Maya in to see whenever she'd like which is in direct violation of the "no babes evr" sign she'd posted on her bedroom door. We'll have to see how that plays out.

5. My new roommate. Sure she hogs the bed. And snores. And I don't sleep nearly as well with her as I do with Mike, but she's there. And she's company. And she thinks it's a very big deal. And I'm thankful.
