thankful thursday

I'm not going to lie to you. I was impressed when she did it last week, but didn't think there was a chance she'd make it two weeks in a row.Only because I know she's a busy lady over there with all the homework and her girls and the gestating that needs to be done. But to my utter surprise and joy she's back again this week. Kinda. Sorta. So why not come and join us and list the five things you're thankful for on Thursday. And now my list.....

1. My Mom. Seems rather obvious doesn't it? She's an amazing lady! Since she works in a children's clothing store she picked up the girls new snow suits for me. And got them to me before the snowfall. Which would have been more than enough. I was immensely grateful for that, but what did I find tucked down in the bag, but two versions of Diner Dash! Just my favouritest video game that I've been playing with ads online. Now I have my very own copies. Also she found a Wii for me! Mike and I had decided to get one for the family for Christmas, but we weren't certain we'd find one. Especially since we weren't really willing to go out of our way for it, but Mom just happen to find some online.

2. The Scholastic Book catalogue. I ordered a bunch of their $1.99 books to donate to the No Charge Christmas Store . And bonus because I ordered our school receives books in return. A big deal for our low funded school. That's like double dipping on my paying it forward.

3. The Office, that show is just laugh out loud funny! I just wish it wasn't on the same time as Grey's.

4. Hugs. Hugs are the best. Luckily I work with some huggy ladies, so there is never any shortage when I add my work hugs to my home hugs.

5. My sheets. I seriously love them! They're sheets made out of t-shirt material. Best sheets ever! I need to go out and buy myself another set or two.
