Big shout out to my gal the Widney Woman, who tried to help me out with Knowing Me, Knowing You this month. You know, since I was taking forever to get a post up. Funnily enough I had my post scheduled to post the same day. Thanks for keeping on top of me for that:)
Do you remember my wonderful and amazing pal, The Mommy Project. Do y'all miss MP as much as I do... which is crazy when you consider she's right across the dang street. But I miss her. I caught a fleeting glance of her through her dining room window this evening. Maybe one day we'll be in the same room again.... tea soon MP? For reals though!! Well MP is now The Chick Pea, photog extraordinaire. Go check out the gorgeous photos she shot of my galpal Heazer's doggie, Homer. You're going to want to take him home with you.
Shockingly, my bro is still blogging. This may be a record. He's a total design
And did you know... I'm famous. Yep, I totally made it into Merry's Monday Mingle vlog. Go check it out and then tell her what a pretty voice she has. And great hair too... if mine would behave that nicely I'd go get it cut like that tomorrow.

this is the second post in 2 days that mentions the book tour of pioneer woman.
I find it odd...in Europe we really don't have such a celeb status for well known bloggers. In general I don't think we idolise people easily.
I know I was so jealous of Leah!! =)
funny, you were one of the first blogs that i followed as well. i connected with you through karen. small bloggy world.
Thanks for the mention Shan! I'm so glad you were one of the first blogs I followed. By now you are practically family!
I'm still on a "high" over the experience of meeting PW, a full week later! Jared asked me today if I had anyone else famous to meet so they could play at McD's and stay up late again. It was a fun-filled experience for the whole family. LOL I'm sooooo glad I went as well.
Here's hoping she heads your way sooner than later.
Goofball - I think idolize is a bit of a strong word, for me at least. I think she's a remarkable intriguing woman who writes in a way that you feel you're friends. I think that's why so many people are drawn to her.
Kaci - Big ditto on that one my friend.
Julie - Wow, I didn't know that. I'm so glad you decided to pop over.
Merry - absolutely.
Leah - that would be pretty kick ass. Maya would go nuts. She loves the cookbook and looks at it often.
