It mentioned on that scary blue screen that the issue may be due to a software or hardware installation problem. I haven't added any hardware, but I did download some new software for Abby's Tag Reading system. Also now that I've restore it to a point that's a couple of days old now, it's telling me I have Windows updates to install.... should I install them? Oh I hope I actually fixed it. It's hard to say when you have no idea what you're doing. Say a prayer for me.
Would you believe I did have sort of a pseudo recipe for you tonight, but now it's well past my bedtime and I'm too tired to upload pictures and write a delightfully witty (HA! I'm so funny) post about cupcakes, but I'm still game to see what you're cooking.
What is What's Cooking Wednesday and how can I play?
What's cooking Wednesday was born out of a desire to get out of that what's for dinner rut. Playing is easy, on Wednesday post a recipe that has been tried and tested by you and then pop over here and add your name to the Mr. Linky. When entering your name also add the name of the recipe in brackets and make sure you link to your What's Cooking Wednesday post and not just your blog's front page. *All front page links will be deleted!* Don't make me be a jerk. And don't forget to link back here, the home of What's Cooking Wednesday.
So for example I would write Shan (Speedy Chicken Stir Fry) in the name section. For the URL section I would post this: http://shanrev.blogspot.com/2007/10/whats-cooking-wednesday-speedy-chicken.html
I'll let you in on a little secret, my WCW recipes are almost never made on a Wednesday. So feel free to cook and photograph whenever you have time and join us posting on Wednesday

Can't wait to see what recipe you've got to share. I've had my own share of blog issues - I was hacked in December and most recently there was a problem with the code - so I understand the frustration. It definitely bummed me out. I remember at one time my husband told me not to install Windows Update Service Pack (can't remember if it was 2 or 3) because it was unstable. Googling "windows crashes after updates" brings up a lot of info on how to fix the problem. Google the computer's "symptoms" and you're bound to find others that have had the same problem and fixed it. Hope that helps just a bit! Thanks for hosting :-)
Um... do a computer bug-repelling dance? Yeah, SO not your girl on this one. I made chicken souvlaki and cuban chicken tonight -- trying out new spices from epicure. It's baseball season, which means every three or four days I try to cook enough food to last for the next three or four days. Plus we eat a lot of cheese and crackers.
My advice re: computer is that Windows sucks; buy a Mac. Stress will be gone (of course, you need a couple of thousand dollars sitting around... maybe less practical).
Hope you get all your computer problems sorted out soon. Being computer-less is muy sucky!
