knowing me, knowing you - october 2010

Why yes I did totally miss last month's Knowing Me, Knowing You. September was a whirlwind, it sure was. I had a blast, but I'm kinda glad it's behind us as well.

So without further ado let's dive right into everyone's favourite little interview project.....

1. Started your Christmas shopping yet?

Why yes, yes I have. I've actually made a serious little dent in it already. I've got a couple little things tucked away for Abby. Papa and Grandma Linda are pretty much done and I've got great ideas for the rest of the folks on my list. Last year I had very little Christmas spirit... I faked it pretty good, but last year was a definite struggle. I'm thrilled to have my Christmas-ness back.

2. Fall is here, what's your favourite cold weather comfort food?

Pasta. Any kind - meat sauce, meatballs, alfredo... whatever. I love it all.

3. Are you watching any new shows?

Heck I've barely had time to watch any of my old favourites, but I did stumble upon Raising Hope and I loved it right away. It's quirky and I love me some quirky.

4. Have you read Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet?

Why yes I have... funny you should ask. Loved it. Who else has read it so we can discuss how awesome it was? Anybody watch the mini-series? Did it translate to TV well?

5. Is the top of your desk cluttered or clear?

Cluttered. I try to keep it clear, but it's a battle I have a hard time winning. Maybe one day.

So now the rules, they're pretty simple. Post your answers to these questions on your own blog in the next few days. Remember to link back here in your post and sign the Mr. Linky too, so we can all see what you have to say. Please make sure you link to your actual KMKY post and not your blog's front page. Any front page links will be deleted. And most importantly, have fun! Have suggestions for next months questions? Leave me a comment or send me an email and let me know.

1. huh already? of course not. in Belgium we celebrate Sinterklaas (Santa Claus) on December 6th and only afterwards we start thinking about Christmas. That's still ages away.

2. Oh yes, Pasta & chips always do for comfort food and anything with minced meat such as chili or so.

Some more seasonal would be pumpkin or lentil soup.

3. nope, only recurring shows that I already knew

4. don't know it

5. cleaned up in piles of papers to deal with :p

Pasta with goofball sauce. hahahahahahaha. sorry, I haven't slept in a few days. Thanks for the ready-made post, as usual. I've recommitted to regular posting, and it's really hard!
