where do they get this stuff from

Tonight while we were tidying up I asked Abby if she would get a load of towels together and put them in the washing machine. She was thrilled to be given such a grown up job to do. So she gathered up all the dirty towels she could find pausing only to ask me if it was okay to put dishcloths in to because they're kinda like towels and when she was done she said.....
