sunday randoms

I am so in love with my kobo I can't even tell you. I borrowed my first book from the library on it last week. That thrilled me beyond belief. It's a Marian Keyes book, gosh I love her and I've read 37%  of it so far. I am such a book nerd.

I downloaded a weight watchers app to my phone. Love it! So much. I have never tracked my points so diligently before. The app has a bar code scanner that calculates the points for me. So handy when grocery shopping.

Abby and I went for a run on the weekend, we hadn't been out in a month. It hurt way less than I was expecting it too, but at the same time it was no walk in the park... literally. It was too muddy on the trail so we ran up the road, nothing but open fields out there, boy was that wind bitter. At about the half way mark when I was truly hating myself for suggesting we go out for a run you won't believe which song popped up on my ipod..... bump bumpbumpbump  bumpbumpbump bumpbumpbuuuummmpppp... the Eye of the Tiger. True story. So I dug down, found my inner Rocky and powered through the rest of it.

As of 2:30 this morning I was able cross "wash dinner dishes for 300" off my bucket list. Trust me, it was way more fun then you would think. I'm sure it was largely due to the company I was keeping.

Tried to see Breaking Dawn with a couple of my besties and my newly unofficially adopted nephew and would you believe it was sold out! Sold out! Haven't all the tweenie Twihards in this city seen it yet? Actually, I have never seen a movie theater that busy before in my life. A burger and a chat was a fantastic substitution..... tracked the points and everything, thanks to my beloved android phone.

Am I a bad Mom if I burst into hysterical giggles when I overheard Maya say.... this paper is a piece of shit? ahahahah I'm not going to lie to you, I'm laughing right now, just typing it out. Is it better if I tell you that I didn't let her I found it so funny?

Eggs benny with chorizo and cornbread...... yes, please. Which brings me to my next question, why do I watch the foodnetwork so late at night? Also can I add "try some new restaurants" to my 2012 to-do list? I can? Great, because I tried one Saturday night. Prepare to read about it soon.

Such an upbeat post. Loved reading it. i guess I need to add Eye of the Tiger to my ipod for running because I have had no motivation lately and haven't run in months!

Well it's Rocky, how could you not run. It's hard to get motivated when it's so cold outside. I very easily talked myself out of a run this afternoon. Come on spring!
