to do in 12

So to continue with the theme of yesterday's post.... my to do list for 2012.

1. Get my passport. Geez, it is not that hard. I should just do it already.
2. Get the girls their SIN cards.
3. Knit 15 scarves to donate.
4. Knit 15 cancer caps.
5. Knit 15 hats.
6. Complete the couch to 5k program.
7. Read 20 books.
8. Participate in my 3rd Relay for Life and my 2nd as a part of a Dream Team.
9. Follow the weight watchers plan and lose 35lbs.

That ought to keep me busy for a little while. What do you have on your 2012 to-do list?

I don't know anything about knitting but I do know the couch to 5 k program. I did it last year and it's really do-able. My best advice is to follow it exactly. I got a bit "ooo...look at me running, this part is too easy" and I'd skip ahead and then get my ass kicked. So even if at some point it seems to easy, just stick it out. :)

I love the idea of a "to do list" being able to check things off as you go. I might just have to steal this idea!

And I agree with Sharon. I did that program and LOVE the end result. =) I can't wait to get back into it.

Thanks Sharon. My 9 year old and I started the program late in the fall and we were both enjoying it, then the cold kind of drove us indoors. Can't wait to get back out there though.

Betsy - Thanks, I like the list idea better too.

I did run from couch to 5kms this summer....will make 5-10 next summer in order to complate an 8k race at end of the year.

these programs are amasing. I remember being totally extactic that for first time in my life I had managed to run 5 minutes non stop early summer....now I do a warm-up of 10 minutes non stop. Pretty awesome to notice how you can easily progress

I do agree with the comments: at some points it seems too easy and you want to progress faster but that simply backfire. follow the program and it works fine
