Girls night out with Grandma Linda was fun. Both girls called it the best day ever. Then Maya called Abby a chitter chat box, which made Grandma Linda and I giggle like crazy.
I didn't think the weather was all that bad on Friday, but apparently it was bad enough to twist the top out of the neighbour's tree and drop it right in the middle of our deck. Luckily there was no damage. Papa cut the pile down to something a bit more manageable and I finished clearing it up tonight.
The Abster turns ten.... TEN... tomorrow. The day you were born stories abounded at dinner tonight.
I skipped my run today and had a nap instead. What the what? Naps usually make me angry, but I did not regret this decision one bit. I did do some strength training and cleaned up that tree, so....
I'm out of iced coffee.
Mike and I have watched the complete Extras series in the past couple of weeks thanks to the local public library. I'm pretty sure Ricky Gervais is a genius!
