Tuesday Pancakes

Abby woke up thrilled that it was "Tuesday Pancake". It was all she could talk about all day. She couldn't wait for Mike to come home so they could make pancakes for Tuesday Pancake. Now pancakes are one of her favourite foods. She would eat them everyday if she could. So imagine my surprise when she didn't eat a single bite of them tonight. She likes to keep us guessing.

Grandma Linda and Papa were over tonight with a gift for Abby and Maya. Although it isn't a gift Maya will be able to enjoy anytime soon. As I had mentioned before the 20 year old TV that was in Abby's toy room was on it's very last legs. It really needed to be taken behind the shed and put out of it's misery. Since her TV's been on the fritz she's been using the TV in the living room to fufill all her cartoon watching needs. So Grandma and Papa decided to give her a new TV for her toy room. Woohoo no more watching Flubber and Tarzan 2 for me. I guess it's really more a gift for me than it is for them. Thank you Grandma and Papa. So how does my delightful daughter thank her Papa for such a generous gift? By shaking her tiny little fist at him menacingly and threatening to "wrap him like a present." Seriously. She said that. No question, the funniest thing I've heard all week. Way funnier than her calling me "dude" all day.
