Well duh

Well blogger is being a total bitch. I haven't been able to post to my blog since Saturday, but I can't complain too much since I've heard that some have been having problems since Thursday. It is a really big pain in the ass though. Since I have so much to say about absolutely nothing. The posts are in my blogger account so I'm hoping that eventually they'll just show up on my blog. I'd hate for my loyal fans to think I had deserted them.

Plus I know you're all dying to hear about how stupid I was today. As you may know Mike and I started Oprah's debt diet and since then we've had a pretty strict budget. So there is never any money in our account that isn't spoken for. Now Tuesday is payday for me and that makes it grocery night. This Tuesday is also Halloween so in effort to make the week a little bit easier we decided to go shopping today. Since there wasn't any money in the account for groceries I thought about transferring from from my Christmas slush fund, but wasn't sure if it would go through today. Then I remembered I had some other Christmas money stashed away here at home. No problem I thought, I'll take the cash from the house and replace it on payday. So Mike and I get the girls all dressed up to go out in that horrible wind and head off to the Super WalMart. We no sooner walk through the doors when I realized that the cash is still sitting on my desk at home.

Me: You're going to hate me.
Mike: Why?
Me: We have no money.

Yep there we were in the busiest store in town without a single penny to our names. Well we'll use the business account was Mike's wise suggestion. Too bad I have transferred all the business funds to a high interest bank account I can't access at the moment. Well we'll use the Visa. Another great idea, if Mike hadn't activated our new cards that very morning after which neither one of us bothered to put into our wallets. And we're kind of crazy and only have the one credit card (I know it's shocking). Well I guess we're going home with nothing then. Luckily Mike remembered that after our shopping we were headed to the bank to deposit a cheque. So I stayed and shopped while he deposited the cheque and the kids didn't have to go hungry. But honestly how stupid was that?
