Still Searching

I have to admit I'm something of a statistics junky. I check my blog's stats at least once a day. I'm always curious to see how people found their way here. Sometimes the path to the BlogMother can be bizarre.

Cases in point:
  • Joey Lawrence bed sheets (Would you settle for a pillowcase?)
  • frugal wife making apple pie pockets (Were you hoping for pictures?)
  • Michael Scofield holding hands with another guy (Wishful thinking maybe?)
  • mayan everyday lifestyle (Well she's 10 months old so she pretty much just sleeps and eats cheerios.)
  • Mario Lopez pedophile (Are you asking or telling me?)
See what I mean? Thankfully the oddball searches are kept to a minimum. What seems to bring people here the most is the food. Yep, recipe searches bring in the most hits. With one recipe being head and shoulders above the rest. Any guesses? Raise your hand if you guessed this.

Lately I've been getting a lot of traffic from the NaBloPoMo randomizer. (Hi fellow NaBloPoMo participants.) Now National Blog Posting Month requires a post every day for the month of November. If you didn't feel up to the challenge then you could, instead, post a comment on a participating blog everyday. I was planning on featuring a blog a day, but some how got sidetracked. However, it is only the 12th so I can still supply you with 18 new blogs to check out. Don't say I never give you anything.

NaBloPoMo Blog of the Day - Kerflop

There's always something funny or interesting to read over at Kerflop. Her post about her son's unfortunate experience with a Magic Eraser type product resulted in me and many other bloggers writing posts of our own just to spread the word about the potential danger these products pose. She has since written a follow up post that's chock full of information regarding how these products work and why that makes them dangerous even though they appear totally harmless. Since that post I've had a lot of visitors arriving using search terms like magic eraser chemical burns or something similar. Kerflop is a new blog, but it's author has been around for quite a long time. Prior to this she wrote the VeryMom blog, which I also loved. She's not noremally an every day blog writer so November's been a big treat for the Kerflop fan. Take a moment to check her out.
