I saw this over at bleeding espresso and since I'm nothing if not a blantant rip off artist I thought I close out 2006 with a meme. Also I have 20 ish minutes to kill before Michael gets back here with the Chinese food.

Sent my daughter off to school.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't really make any resolutions last year. This year is all about paying it forward.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Do I count as close?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't venture too far from my own backyard.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A laptop. Someone to pay me to stay home with my kids.
7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Maya's birthday and her homecoming day.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having Maya come home safe and sound. Abby writing her name. Not going into debt for Christmas.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Didn't pay down as much debt as I would have liked.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not my own, but we definitely suffered through Maya's.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I think it would have to be the pool.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Abby's, it's the one I devote the most attention to anyway.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan and hell let's throw the Donald in there too.
14. Where did most of your money go?
My friend. You might know him. Last name Bill. First name Hydro or Phone or Gas and sometimes Water.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Abby starting school, Dad's 60th birthday party, visiting Dave and Mel, Maya coming home.

Happier, the same and richer.

Sleeping.

Entertaining a baby at 3 am.

With copious amounts of family.

Oh many many times.

None that I recall.

Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, The Office, 30 Rock... what, was I supposed to pick just one?

Nope.

Anybody Out There? by Marian Keyes. Read it ladies, trust me!

The Fray.

New pots. I'm still afraid of using them.

A laptop.

I don't think I saw any films from this year. A new to me this year movie that I loved was The Polar Express.

Girl's night! Bowling and mexican food. I was 33.

I think it was pretty great as is.

I'm supposed to have a fashion concept?

Mike, my kids, my family, my blog.

Katrina, the war, gay marraige.

My Dad, Papa Joyce, Ricky, my grandparents.

That my family is incredible.

Yes it was a lot of fun.
As for the pots (Lagostina Italia) I finally used them yesterday. They were fabulous. I still have a hard time believing that they are actually mine.
