my first giveaway

Disclaimer: I am a BzzAgent. The friendly folks at the Central Hive gave me this product to try out in exchange for my honest opinion and all the bzz I can generate.

Seems like everybody who is anybody is hosting or has hosted a blog contest. So I thought to myself, why not me? Why not today? I am going to start out with a small contest, just to get my feet wet, but stay tuned for a big contest announcement coming tomorrow-ish. And now for today's giveaway.

Chocolate milk, who doesn't like it? Well I don't, but Mike tells that's not normal and I have to trust his judgment on all things chocolate milk related. I have to admit it's not very often we even have chocolate milk in the house, mostly because I don't think to buy it. Plus it's expensive and our milk budget is stretched to the limit already as any household with young kids would know. So this Nesquik syrup was going to be a welcome addition for the chocolate milk lovers in my house.

Now let's talk facts here. This is not your Momma's Nesquik. This Nesquik has a 1/3 less sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Now just because there is a third less sugar doesn't mean there is a third less taste. Not so, my friend. The smart folks at Nesquik re-worked their formula so there is more cocoa powder giving it that great chocolate taste. In fact all of my taste testers this week were impressed with it's chocolatey-ness. Nesquik 1/3 less sugar comes in iron enriched syrup form or vitamin enriched powder form.

I have mentioned that Abby has been some what of a picky eater of late. One thing I have a hard time getting her to eat/drink is dairy. I cannot get a drop of milk past that girl's lips. At least that's how it used to be. Since the Nesquik entered our home on Friday she's requested either milk or water to drink. So I'm pretty excited about that.

I have 6 single serve samples in my possession to give away to one lucky reader out there. Just add to a glass of milk and enjoy. Entering is easy, just leave me a comment letting me know what you think of Nesquik 1/3 less sugar and I will draw and announce a winner on Wednesday to coincide with my What's Cooking Wednesday post. Good luck!

One Christmas I gave a package to Lulu with her new christmas mug, since ev1 was getting coffee and teas, I liked it. Loved the fact that my father could drink it, he's diabetic. That is a great giveaway. I should check my bzzagaent account i guess. ;)

I hate milk. I love chocolate milk. My bones will grow really strong and I won't break a hip if I drink more milk. My pancreas would also like a break from all the sugar that I eat. I would not develop diabetes then. Winning this contest could possibly save my life.

Hee...hee...how was that?
