The other night as Mike and I were loading our groceries into the van we noticed across the parking lot the most ridiculous sight we had ever seen. A person sitting on the trunk of a car holding onto a large box containing an electric fireplace while someone else drove it out of the parking lot. I'll pause for a moment while you picture it.
No, it wasn't in the trunk with the trunk lid open.
The box and the person were both perched on top of the trunk as the driver eased them out into traffic.
They had their four ways on, though. So don't worry.
Yeah, really. Easily the stupidest thing I have seen in a long long time. Of course we cannot wait to tell this story to Papa and Grandma Linda when we arrive there to pick up the kids. They listen, shake their heads with disbelief and laugh at all the appropriate times and then...
 Papa says....
That's nothing. I set Uncle George on fire today.*
 All hail the new King.
*Don't worry Uncle George came through unscathed, although his jeans will never be the same.

I hope they were stopped by the cops.
Glad that he survived the fire
WOW! I cannot believe some people!
Glad that your uncle is ok. :)
Yeah Uncle George is fine. He actually stepped into Papa's torch flame while they were doing some plumbing work (Papa is a plumber) and scorched the heck out of his pants.
