1. What household chore do you dislike the most?
I think I'd have to go with vacuuming here. Mostly because I cannot stand our central vac. It's a dinosaur at this point and while it still works I question how effective it really is.
2. Do you have any travel plans this year?
Nope. We tend to spend our summer vacations close to home. Maya is a horrible traveler, from the motion sickness to her sleep issues to her hard time dealing with change. It's just easier to stay home. Abby is away with my Mom right now. She's pretty good, but does tend to get a bit homesick. There's no cottage for them this year. It's not open for rentals so they're flying by the seat of their pants. Today was supposed to be the zoo and then -- who knows.
3. Ever met a bloggy friend in real life.
Well I kinda count The Mommy Project. She had read large portions of my blog before we ever actually met in person. Although we did know about each other via our daughters and had an email relationship to set up playdates and such. And through her I met the lovely Widney Woman online and then in person last summer. A date I almost chickened out of, but am so glad I did not. She is even more fabulous in real life and her kids - uber adorable. Next on the agenda - Karen from Virtually There. Karen and I are long time bloggy friends and luckily she'll be spending the next year much closer to me than she usually is. I am hoping to hook up with her soon. I am equal parts excited and nervous as hell.
4. Seen anything good lately?
We tend to watch more movies in the summer just because there is nothing much on TV. This past weekend I watched The Other Boleyn Girl. I wasn't really expecting to like it as much as I did. Natalie Portman is great in it, but I've been a Portman fan since she did Beautiful Girls a million years ago. We also watched Role Models for movie night and I fell a little bit more in love with Paul Rudd.
5. What is your favourite kitchen appliance?
My kitchenaid mixer. No question. I have only owned it for six months, but it has more than paid for itself. I whipped up cookie dough in minutes with it tonight while I was bbqing dinner. Just because my Little My Pie wanted chocolate chip cookies. She's an only child this week so I aim to indulge her. And the appliance honeymoon is still not over. I can't help but run my hand over it's shiny finish whenever I walk by, just marvelling that it's actually mine.
So now the rules, they're pretty simple. Post your answers to these questions on your own blog in the next few days. Remember to link back here in your post and sign the Mr. Linky too, so we can all see what you have to say. Please make sure you link to your actual KMKY post and not your blog's front page. Any front page links will be deleted. And most importantly, have fun! Have suggestions for next months questions? Leave me a comment or send me an email and let me know.

I couldn't agree more about the Kitchenaid mixer. It's literally changed my life (or at least my baking life).
We usually stay close to home for vacations, but we're actually traveling this time - I want to see what that will be like.
Good to get to know more about you. :) I will be joining probably tomorrow. :)
