This canning thing has become quite the addictive little hobby. There is something incredibly satisfying about hearing the ping of a correctly processed jar. Not to mention it's pretty cool to grab a jar of salsa off the shelf that you made yourself. This weekend I picked up two more cases of jars and cooked up some taco sauce and some Thai chili sauce. These are products I usually purchase at the grocery store, but this way the cost is drastically reduced, plus I know all the ingredients. Also my new kitchen layout made the whole thing a dream! Can't wait to can some more.
