52 kids live here - week 5

So many messes. It seems like every time I turn around there is another mess, but that's what I get for living with little kids, right. I signed myself up for this. In a blink though, they'll be grown and on to their own life and the messes will be gone. I'll be able to clean a room and come back 15 minutes later with it looking exactly the same as I left it...... assuming Mike isn't home :)

So to "celebrate" those little messes I'm joining with with my girl, the uber talented Ann, and her 52 Kids Live Here project.



I'm not even going to lie. That is 100% my mess. My laptop. My papers. My notebooks. My work. I'm pretty vocal about how important volunteering is to my life. Long time readers know I have my fingers in a  lot of different pies. So what does my mess have to do with my children, well 100% of my volunteering is to benefit my children. There are projects that I work on that help raise funds to benefit all the students at their school. And there are projects that benefit the organization the kids are involved with. There are projects that I work on with the girls. Then there are projects that are just for me, but at the end of the day they make happier and that makes me a better Mom. I'm two months away from three events happening almost right on top of each other. It's time to get my ducks in a row.
