I failed to mention that my neighbour ran the 5k as well and crushed the hell out of it! Twenty-two minutes! Can you believe it!? Awe inspiring, Mr The MP.
And his shoe came untied halfway through! And he Stopped before crossing the finish line because he thought the colorful mats covering the cables ~were~ the finish! Unreal. And he only trained for 3 weeks after 10 years of not running! He asked me when we will race together. My answer: never. Ha!
