Well it's official! This week will go down as the suckiest holidays ever! Don't believe me? Well last night things got so boring we actually started doing a puzzle. Yeah that's right a puzzle. A 1000 piece Winnie the Pooh photo mosiac jigsaw puzzle that Robin got for Abby for Christmas. So Mike and I could build it for her, seal it and hang it on her wall. Oh and it gets worse..... I actually went to bed at 10 pm because the puzzle excitement was too much for me. Woo Hoo can you say PAR-TAY? The only thing sadder than that is....... Mike stayed up until 1 am working on the puzzle. By himself! Poor Abby she has such unhip parents. Seriously Dave and Mel need to move here quick because they are the coolest people we know and this kid needs some cool around her and let's face it she just ain't getting it from us.
Garage sale day tomorrow! Mike's Mom has impressed us both with the amount of stuff she's brought over. She has so many items still in sealed boxes, never used, it's insane. There's a whole build it yourself dollhouse, portable bbq, oil lamps, serving trays, puzzles (hmm maybe Mike and I should snag those) and lots more I didn't even see. I know there's 10 dining room chairs out there that belong to 2 different dining room suites. I also saw a couple of doctor's room waiting chairs. I mean they seriously came from a doctor's waiting room. That woman is going to make some serious coin tomorrow.
We had a rental today for an annual Canada Day party. With very few exceptions all those in attendance today were wearing red and white. They had Canadian Flag temporary tattoos and lots of red and white face paint. This was just a family reunion type party at a person's house. Even their shade tents were red and white. I have to admit I was impressed with their Canadian Pride, it was nice to see. Happy Canada Day!!
