Well our pint sized Ansel Adams was at it again. Maya was fussy until about 4 am this morning so as I lay comatose on the couch (after 3 hours sleep) Abby wandered around the house with the camera expressing her creative side.

Mike is amazed that at 3 she knows how to use the camera. I'm impressed with how interested she is in it and that she doesn't treat it like a toy, but she really wants to take a good picture. The whole process is funny to watch, from her deciding what she'd like to take a picture of to her critiquing the picture she just took. We could have a budding photographer on our hands here.

She seems to want to take pictures of abstract things. Sure she'll ask to take pictures of me or Mike or Maya, but then she'll want to get a picture of Maya's feet or her ear or her dolly's feet, the spigot on the water cooler. I said to Mike she could be a prodigy. His response: "Yeah or she could be a three year old who isn't looking out the view finder or at the LCD screen for that matter". Which is true when she takes a picture she has her little face mashed right up against the LCD screen. Maybe she "feels" her shots more than she sees them. Check out her latest work in my photostream.
