Well the girls were.... let's see how do I put this politely? Horribly spoiled by Auntie Yoli tonight. Abby got a Dora hamper for her dirty clothes, which she wore on her head for a while before filling it with dirty clothes from the hamper in the laundry room. She also got a string of Dora lights for her bedroom. Perfect timing too, since the light in her Dora lamp just burnt out. I had to steal the night light from Maya's room which didn't bother Maya, but it was a pain the ass for us to be stumbling around half asleep in the dark when she gets up in the middle of the night. She also got some Dora bracelets and a very cool night gown. Abby loves to wear nightgowns because she "looks just like Grandma".
Baby got the very adorable bear pictures above from Build-a-Bear. It's a very soft bear and it plays Brahm's Lullabye. She also got her first pair of shoes. Cute little pink ones that are called Maya. Yep that's right she's so cute they named a shoe after her. There was also a very "cute" outfit. Now cute is in quotes because the pants say Baby Bum on the ... wait for it...... bum. Which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I'm letting it slide this time because it's from Yoles and I love her and also Maya's only a baby.
Maya put on a fantastic show for Auntie Yoli tonight. Screaming her guts out while Abby and I gave her a bath. I'm surprised the neighbours haven't called on bath night to make sure everything's okay because she is loud. Abby's anxious for Maya to be big enough to have a bath with her, but at this rate I don't see it happening.
