I am once again borrowing this great meme from the wonderful bleeding espresso. I can't think of a better post to wrap up an old year and welcome a new one.
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Knitted scarves. A lot of them. All told I donated 7 and made an equal amount to give as gifts.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Last year was all about paying it forward and I think we certainly accomplished that. I definitely want to continue that into next year. Also I'd like to try and live greener.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Losing Sylvia was a shocking blow.
5. What countries did you visit?
We stayed pretty close to home base this year.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Still thinking a laptop would be nice.
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Oh the usual, holidays, birthdays anytime we gathered together.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Definitely the girls, they're what I funnel most of my energy into.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably the business preforming to the level we're used to.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not my own, but others, definitely.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
New windows, no question.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Again the girls.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Well I guess it's safe to say Britney's a trainwreck at this point.
14. Where did most of your money go?
The new windows.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Anything and everything Abby did in school. Abby's choir singing career, my knitting, Mike's wood working and Maya, finally, at nearly two years old is sleeping through the night and talking. She's finally talking.

Spending time with friends.

Laundry.

Busy busy busy with lots of family.

Again and again.

Nada.

The Office, Dirty Sexy Money, Entourage, Dancing With the Stars & Grey's Anatomy.

Looked after my pukey kid & shopping for new underwear.

High speed internet.

Relaxed.

My family, my friends and the internet.

Environment related issues.

My Dad, Papa Joyce, Ricky, my grandparents.

My best gal Sue to name just one.

That things don't always work out like we planned and you just have to make peace with that.
