blog this

Okay, I am totally borrowing this from the wonderful Michelle over at Bleeding Espresso because it looked like so much fun. Also because it's quick and easy and I am tired after a long night and day of looking after Miss High Fever Maya. All I can say about it is thank God for 24 hour children's programming and Motrin. Say a prayer she's going to be okay through the night because we both need some sleep.

And now the rules, which I copied directly from Michelle.

Here’s what happens:

1. I start with a question/phrase.

2. The first commenter answers that question and leaves a new question for the next visitor to answer. It could be a general question, fill in the blank sentence, a “tell me about a time when,” etc.

3. The next commenter answers the new question and provides a question for the next visitor.

4. And so forth until you’re all bored to tears. Yes, I expect actual tears before we stop (photographic evidence will do).

5. Note: I reserve the right to delete or modify any questions that, you know, rub me the wrong way. Ahem.

The first question:

Since it's still Wednesday let's keep the What's Cooking Wednesday theme going.

You can only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I would eat my mom’s Taco Salad. It has every food group in it. So yummy!

Next question
Do you prefer bad breath or stinky feet (shoes off) if you would be stuck in an elevator with someone?

cabbage rolls made like big grandmas cabbage rolls,(made the size I make them) thats all you would ever need.:)

what is the worst cooking disaster you have ever had?

Hmm, I think it would be a chocolate cake that didn't rise. At all. It still tasted good though ;)

What is your favorite hour of the day?

Oops! I should've passed down Angela's question...perhaps the next person will?

My favourite hour of the day is the one from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This is the time when we put the girls to bed and I love that quiet time with them - singing songs and cuddling - ahhh...peace. Then I get to go veg. on the couch with my feet up on Davey reading a book while watching a show (I have to multi-task my down time to soak up every minute).

(For Angela's -should I answer? I'd probably take the feet if I HAVE to pick. yuck).

Next Question:

What is it that you haven't done/accomplished yet that you would really like to do?

I want to go to Italy. For a month. Unfortunately that trip is not nearly as far up my husband's list of "must do's" so it'll have to wait awhile.

If you could do any job in the world, what would it be (without pay, education, etc being a factor)?

I'm already doing my favorite job in the whole wide world, being a mommy! So lucky me, and there's no pay anyway (unless you count slobbery kisses and hugs around your leg, and little misspelled notes, etc, which are far more payment than I think I deserve sometimes!)

what comes to mind when you hear the word "peaceful" ??

Sitting by the lake at the cottage early in the morning, no other cottagers around, mist on the lake, a loon swimming by, the sun starting to feel warm. Ahhh.

Who is far away from you but you would love to be sitting with right now?

Well this was a fun game. I'm definitely going to play it again. Thanks everyone. I'll finish it up by answering Karen's question.

Dave & Mel, no question.
