1. Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
This year we're spending Christmas Eve with Papa and Grandma Linda, so yes. And the girls will have their new jammers from Santa to open when we get home.
2. Donner or Donder?
I wasn't even aware there was an option. He's always been Donner to me.
3. Turkey or ham?
Almost always turkey. My Grandma K would always have turkey and ham. There was a lot of mouths to feed at those dinners. This year I'm thinking roast beef on Boxing Day.
4. Gifts opened all at once, or one at a time?
One at a time, definitely. Why rush a good thing?
5. Christmas tree: live or artificial?
Both actually. I have a fake one beside my desk here, but the real one is the show stopper in the living room.
6. Cards: boxed cards, family photo cards, or e-cards?
Boxed cards. I used to send out a ton, but this year it dwindled right down to a handful. And most of them are hand delivered.
7. Christmas lights: incandescent or LED?
I have both. The LED's are awesome for the environment, but they just don't throw the same kind of warm light like the old school ones do. I have LED's on one tree and incandescent on the other.
8. Re-gift or not?
If I have the opportunity to, sure. And I rarely have the opportunity. The gift givers in my family have terrific taste.
9. Gift wrap or gift bags?
Gift bags just don't quite cut it for Christmas.
10. Best Christmas song?
Abby and Grandma Linda were incredible singing Away in the Manger today.
11. Best Christmas movie?
Polar Express, Elf, Christmas Vacation and the Grinch.
12. Favourite family tradition?
I don't think I could pick just one. The kids are having a blast with Elwood though!
Okay, your turn. Do play along!!

Great getting to know you!
very fun!!
PS You've been doing very well with Elwood, but I wanted to tell you about the item that Emily came home with from school... They cut out a Santa face and colored it in, and then her teacher gave all the kids 25 strips of paper, each with a typed messaged (each one was also numbered, so they'd get glued on in order). For example, today's message is: cuddle with someone. Each of the strips of paper were glued along the outer edges of Santa's beard (hanging down and outward from the beard), and the ends were curled by wrapping them around a pencil. So essentially, it was a 25 days of Christmas project. Emily was thrilled with the one that said "eat more cookies than you should" and I let her eat three BEFORE lunch... LOL Since Elwood brings a message each night, maybe instead of having all 25 glued on already, they could be glued on as he leaves them, so that by Christmas day, Santa has a full beard? might be too much work on top of coming up with all the ideas for the projects, but it's pretty stinkin' cute and I thought of you when I saw it...
Kaci - thanks
Leah - oh that's a great idea. I'll have to remember that for next year. What a great keepsake!
