today is the day

Yes, I realize that delurking day was actually on the 14th, but what the heck.... I think we can extend it through the weekend at least here at the Blogmother's. In my bloggy life I have amassed a few friendly followers, lovely folks that can be counted on to comment here and on facebook. Holla! to my ladies and a few gents. Thanks so much to all y'all for taking an interest in what I have to say here. I have been continually surprised at the response and feedback I've gotten from my little patch of the interwebs. You guys are truly rockstars.

Here's the deal though, for the comments that I do get, there are many more folks that just pass through with out a peep. Most are popping by for my taco salad recipe and recipes in general, but the taco salad...... that my top search nearly every month. Weird, huh?

So why not speak up today, all my silent visitors? What have you got to lose? I'll even give you a topic... since I'm heading off to decorate MyPie's birthday cake when I'm finished here.....

Which do you prefer - cake or cupcakes?

And this isn't limited to the newbies, the old guard can feel free to weigh in on this too. Thanks guys, for making blogging so awesome!!

Hi! I'm totally not delurking because I'm not a lurker but I thought I would leave you some bloggie friend love. I love reading your posts even though I don't comment as much as I should. Keep up the great work! I'm so glad we "met"!
I'm not a lurker, but I haven't been by to comment in awhile. The mad scramble of the holidays and the building of a new "business" has kept me further from my computer and bloggy friends than I'd normally be. My own poor blog barely remembers me anymore, though I stepped up my game this week after it was pointed out that it gets old checking my blog and not finding anything new to read. LOL

Hope all is well with you and your family! Thank goodness for FB. I still get a small taste of what's going on with my blogger/FB friends, even if I don't have time to read blogs
Cake! Cupcakes don't have an end piece LOLL
i love a good cupcake, but don't think i have ever said no to a piece of cake. i'm not much help, am i?

happy delurking!
I prefer cake. I feel less like a piggy asking for a second piece of cake over asking for a second cupcake somehow. Also - layers means more icing.
Totally a cupcake, you ever seen Martha Stewarts high hat cupcakes, takes hours to make, worth the wait.
I'm not a silent lurker :)
Delurking! Love your blog-been reading for awhile-and not just for the taco salad recipe! I also have two daughters so I can relate to many of your life stories. I also have a blog you can check out if you are inclined. Cake or cupcakes? Dude, you can't go wrong with either of those!
hello, haven't visited in a while thx to D2's arrival. That cake looks awesome! Happy B-Day Maya!
