sunday randoms

So this was an odd weekend for us in that we had no real plans. It was nice for a change. We used the little bit of snow we had out there as an excuse to stay in our jammies reading and watching movies all day Saturday.

Friday night I did meet some girlfriends for dinner at a pub. My purse and I met them for dinner, but my wallet opted to stay at home. My friends found it highly amusing that I had left my wallet at home. I, of course, was mortified. Thank goodness for awesome friends who are willing to help a sister out.

So Abby has become a freak for Harry Potter all of the sudden. Going so far as to make a Hogwarts hotdog Saturday night. Hogwarts hotdog = a normal hotdog with alternating dots of ketchup and mustard so it looks like a Hogwarts scarf. We've watched the first two movies, it feels like a gagillion times already. Mike and I have always been pretty meh about HP, but we both admit to enjoying the first two movies very much. Guess I'll have to read the books now.

Weekends are tough in regards to weight watchers. Especially ones where there is not much on the docket. More time to snack. I don't think I came through it too badly.

My baby girl is turning six in four days. How the heck did that happen?

Hey Girl, I thought I missed December and January's "Knowing Me, Knowing You" but it seems they weren't done....

You MUST read the Harry Potter books!!!! I have read the series fully through 3 times so far (books 1-7 from beginning to end), but as each new book came out, I would read the books prior as a reminder, and THEN, as each new movie came out, I'd the book for that particular movie as a reminder as well. SO basically, I've read the first book somewhere around 15 times?? *grin* Ask Kaci, she's listened to the books on tape on her commute to/from work about that often as well! and I wouldn't even dare to guess how many times I've seen the movies. My kids ♥ them, and so do I!
