I am so proud of my Abby girl. Our school holds one fundraiser per year that we ask the students to fund raise for, the Halloween Dance-a-thon. Our Parent Council offers class and individual prizes for top fundraisers.
This year Abby took charge of her own fundraising efforts and with Grandma Linda by her side for moral support, she talked to pretty much the entire congregation at church and managed to raise $253 for her school. Good enough to be the second highest fundraiser out of all the students.
She came off the bus with the world's biggest smile and a brand new red Nintendo dsi. She is incredibly proud of herself, as are her Dad and I. Who knows, maybe she has a career in the not for profit sector in her future!
